FLA's Business Development Manager - China, Wen Liu joins producers in Australia
Friday, 18 August 2017
Food Leaders Australia members were recently given the rare opportunity to meet with TSBE/FLA’s business development manager for China, Wen Liu, right here in the region to explore the opportunities ahead for export.
During Wen's week-long trip, spent across Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Western Downs, she met with agri-business members and provided updates on market access and opportunities for supplying the China market.
Ms Liu said there was huge potential for our region to work with online platforms and other distribution channels, some of which were seen first-hand by producers on AccessChina’16.
She also spoke with local freight forwarders, producers, and our new FLA GM Bruce McConnel to get a sense of the capacity of the region.
As well as using the trip to talk to Australian producers looking to export, Wen brought business people with her to the region, looking to invest in the market here.
While she may be back in Shanghai following up leads from the Australian visit, FLA is encouraging members to get in contact with us to progress their export journey.
For producers looking to explore their export potential, Wen is a great resource and link to the Asian market.
